Spring might be our favourite time of year. On the one hand, we get to say goodbye to freezing temperatures brought by winter, but on the other, you can still enjoy snow-based activities (just don’t expect too many powder days). So, finding a beautiful A-frame cabin Airbnb in BC that also offers the best of both worlds sounds like a great option to us!

Located in the Hemlock Valley, and near the town of Agassiz, this A-frame cabin offers a wonderful mix of rustic and modern touches. The cabin itself was built back in the 70s, but has been thoughtfully updated with Wi-Fi, a hot tub, and even a ski room for those spring skiing days. For movie night, kick back and enjoy the 90″ projector they’ve installed as well.

That said, the original charm of the cabin is not lost to history. The owners have taken care to source appropriate furniture from both vintage and new collections, with an emphasis on supporting Canadian companies and designers. Plus, it’s never a bad time to kick back and relax by the wood burning stove.

Featuring 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths, the cabin can comfortably accommodate up to 8 adults. However, we think this works best as either a couples’ or a smaller friends’ getaway, since there are 3 beds in just one room. You gotta be comfortable with each other if you’re going for capacity, that’s for sure.

While the inside might get a little cramped, you’ve got more than enough space outside to enjoy. The cabin boasts ski-in/ski-out access for Sasquatch Mountain, making it the perfect alternative to overspending at Whistler one spring weekend. Otherwise, make sure to enjoy a treasure trove of nearby trails, whether walking, cross-country skiing, or snowshoeing!
