A first look at Nightrise, Banff’s thrilling new immersive experience (PHOTOS)

It’s long been said that the mountains come to life in the wintertime, but now they have a voice. This holiday season, experience the peaks and valleys of Alberta’s Rockies under colourful lights and a blanket of stars during Nightrise, a brand new multi-media event at the Banff Gondola.

A creative collaboration between Pursuit, Montreal’s Moment Factory, and the Stoney Nakoda Nation, this sensory spectacular was inspired by the human connection to nature and is meant to enhance the wonder of each natural site.
