A city-wide Harry Potter-themed scavenger hunt is coming to Edmonton this month

Game faces on, folks. It’s not Halloween just yet, but we’re encouraging you to dust off that Gryffindor robe and cheap Hermione wig (or just wear your normal clothes, completely up to you). This month, CluedUpp Games, a company that can turn any city into a playground, is giving Edmonton the chance to live out their wildest dreams.

If you’re like us, and thousands of other Edmontonians who are convinced their Hogwarts letter got lost in the mail, then we hope you’re eyes are wide and your ears are open. After all, summer’s event schedule was all but wiped out, so even the smallest opportunity for something unique to do has us very excited.

Witchcraft and Wizardry Edmonton is a ‘spellbinding outdoor adventure’ that will take you and your closest friends on a magical journey through the city. Crack clues, solve riddles, and complete challenges along the way in hopes of unravelling a mystery as fast as you can.

OH! Also, there are prizes! From best costume and best name to the fastest team you, your pals, and even your dog (who’s also welcome to play) could walk away with some incredible swag, gift cards…  and of course some incredible memories.

To register your team, check out CluedUpp’s website here then start training! This won’t be a cakewalk though, Edmonton. Things are about to get serious.
