We got to drive a Porsche off-road & left with a custom hot sauce at this unique Toronto event

Driving powerful, luxurious cars is a true adrenaline rush. But when you add some spice to it, things can get interesting…

Porsche cars are fast, sleek, and now — spicy? That’s right, spicy. Porsche is celebrating the fiery design of the 2024 Porsche Cayenne with a wicked event and experience that had guests in the driver’s seat of the powerful SUV.

In celebration of the Cayenne lineup, Porsche invited media and VIPs to experience its renowned engineering first-hand by jumping behind the wheel of a 2024 Cayenne through adrenaline-fuelled driving tests at the beautiful Tindall Farm & Market in Uxbridge.

Lucky for us, we got to push the pedal to the metal and truly experience the Cayenne’s star power, and let us just say, it was an unforgettable adventure.

The 2024 Porsche Cayenne Meets The Open Road

While experiencing the 2024 Cayenne, we witnessed the SUV’s smooth driving, impeccable brakes, and ultra-speedy capabilities, complete with a roaring turbo engine. Traversing several speed tests across an open field, the Porsche Cayenne easily handled the sandy conditions of the farm with force!

The driver-focused interior with digital displays and brand-new Porsche Driver Experience controls allowed for an exhilarating drive, too. We even got to test out the jaw-dropping Porsche Brake Control, which initiates automatic braking in emergencies.

Equally as impressive was the way the Porsche Cayenne handled normal driving conditions as we took it out on the open road. From open farmland to paved streets, the Cayenne did not disappoint, providing a breezy and sporty journey each time! Talk about versatility.

Exclusive Porsche Hot Sauce

Now to the hot sauce. We said this was a spicy experience!

To make this experience extra fun, points were accumulated for how well a driver handled the performance tests, which were then transformed into a bespoke and personalized hot sauce. The more a driver aced the tests, the spicier the hot sauce got!

For the record, we had one of the spiciest driving scores for the day, which means the hot sauce should be soaring high on the Scoville scale! To make things just a bit zestier, a limited-edition range of Porsche Cayenne hot sauces were available to taste.

Tantalizing the tongue, our top favourite was the Porsche GTS Sauce with notes of bright cherry, black garlic, Arbol, and Pasilla peppers. Available at select Porsche locations, these sauces take inspiration from the Porsche lineup and are ultra tasty — spice lovers beware!

Have Your Own Porsche Experience

Although this was a private event, you can still get in on all the Porsche action! The anticipated Porsche Experience Centre Toronto lets the public get behind the wheel of some of the most iconic cars in the world. Set to open later this year, this is your chance to channel your inner Mario Andretti.

Located in Pickering at the Durham Live Entertainment District, drivers can race through a two-kilometre circuit to get a first-hand experience of the magic of Porsche design.
