It all started back in 1977 as an annual event to increase exposure for Canada’s country music artists. Today, Country Music Week is made up of 3 components. A music festival, the CCMA Awards Show, and an industry conference with workshops, seminars, and networking receptions.

This year’s CCMAs will be hosted by global country superstar Thomas Rhett, eight-time Academy of Country Music Awards winner and two-time Country Music Association Awards winner with 16 number-one hits!

Excited yet? Dust off your cowboy boots and keep reading to see what you can expect this year.
