2 ways to have an affordable mountain adventure this winter

The winter season is well on its way and we don’t know about you, but we’re already feeling the itch of the impending cabin fever. The colder months can already feel like a bit of a prison, but after all that’s happened in 2020, we don’t think we can stay cooped up at home too much longer. That’s exactly why these western Canadian adventures offered by Contiki are at the top of our to-do list!

Contiki Holidays are famous for their international trips around the globe’s most desired destinations, but did you know that they have a full list of Canadian trips that are equally as impressive? Two of those trips, Ski Whistler and Ski Banff, are discounted right now and will make your winter mountain dreams come true.

Note: Non-essential travel is not currently recommended. Book for the future, and if you are going anywhere remember to adhere to that location’s recommended health guidelines.

SKI BANFF

First off, Banff! One of the most beautiful locations in the world is also home to some of the best skiing in Canada. Contiki is offering a 4-night, 5-day adventure filled with some of winter’s coolest activities. You’ll visit the stunning Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary, explore the town of Banff, and, of course, tear up the slopes!

You’ll also have a chance to take advantage of optional full-day ski lessons, add-ons like dog sledding, taking a dip in the hot springs, or even a helicopter tour of the surrounding Rocky Mountains. Honestly, there is something for every winter adventurer on this trip.

To top it all off, accommodations for the Ski Banff trip from Contiki are at the elegant Tunnel Mountain Resort. Ah, this one is hard to beat.

SKI WHISTLER

Speaking of hard to beat, the next Contiki adventure is none other than an adventure in Whistler. It’s hard to compare Banff and Whistler in terms of beauty, but we can say that Whistler might have a slight edge with regards to skiing.

This trip has all the bells and whistles you’d expect from a perfect mountain adventure. This 3-night, 4-day trip will have you staying at the gorgeous Pangea Pod Hotel, which will be the perfect home base for all of your exploring. Whether you’re carving up fresh powder, snowmobiling, and even ziplining!

Plus, you’ll have the chance to explore Whistler’s Vallea Lumina, which is a multimedia night walk experience taking you through an enchanted forest. It’s either a perfect way to wind down after a day on the slopes, or a perfect way for you to get into the mood for a wild Whistler night.

Price: $455 right now

There you have it, pals! Sure, it might not be a normal year for travel, but adventure is out there and it’s waiting for you! All you have to do is let Contiki show you the way.
