Silver Skate Festival

The Silver Skate Festival is a 10-day family-oriented festival in Edmonton, combining arts, culture, sports, and recreation. From skating on the city’s best surfaces to gazing upon the magnificent fire sculptures, this festival has it all. You can even participate in one of many competitions, like Western Canada’s Oldest Winter Triathlon.

International Festival of Winter Cinema

The International Festival of Winter Cinema is officially in its ninth year, and this being its third year, it’s in its new location: Sir Wilfrid Laurier Park. This festival is currently running in partnership with the Silver Skate Festival, a 10-day family-oriented festival in Edmonton, combining arts, culture, sports, and recreation.

Romance and Roses

Valentine’s Day at Muttart

The Muttart Conservatory will host an extended after-hours evening for Valentine’s Day, only for adults 18 and above. Not only will you be able to walk amongst the beautiful plants, but local artist Dana Wylie will be playing music to create an intimate atmosphere.
