Join the Ultimate Summer Challenge, Calgary Public Library’s largest program for readers and learners of all ages. The idea is simple: read a little every day this summer. With free access to books, resources, and events through the library, it’s an easy way for Calgarians to stay inspired all season long – plus, you will be entered to win some pretty great grand prizes.

Come From Away tells the true story of when flights were grounded around the world, and thousands of passengers were welcomed into the small town of Gander, Newfoundland. This new production of the award-winning musical highlights resilience, kindness and unexpected connections during a moment of crisis.

The Okotoks Film Festival is back, and this year it is going all out for its 10th anniversary. Taking place at Okotoks Cinemas, the festival features 10 days of world-class films, red-carpet events, and more.

Explore Spruce Meadows – June and July is a full-day summer experience packed with live outdoor music on weekends, Friday Movie Nights under the stars, and some of the cutest competition you will see all summer.
Across the grounds, you’ll also find live entertainment, Kids’ Zone activities, mini animal petting zoos, food vendors, and local shops, all leading up to world-class international show jumping as the main event of the weekend.
