April showers bring May flowers and we’re ready for the downpour. The downpour in fun stuff to do, that is. Okay, that joke was a reach but bear with us, please. This week we’re entering a whole new month here in Toronto and saying goodbye to the last of winter while we’re at it. So needless to say, we’re looking for a celebration.

This week you can marvel at a beautiful light show in downtown Toronto. Canadian Olympian Scott Moir has been rallying folks from coast to coast to share their favourite moments, places, and people in the country. The entire campaign is cumulating in a gorgeous celebration right here in Toronto.

CITY HALL LIVE SPOTLIGHT

You can’t go wrong with a virtual concert! The city is celebrating loads of local talent with easy to stream concerts all month long. This week, you can tune in on Thursday to catch Myles Castello at Coalition Music.

Hoping to enter the world of drag but don’t know where to start? This event has all your answers. Tune in for a virtual workshop on all things drag makeup. It’s sure to be a hoot and hollering good time.

WAVE TO A LIFE SIZED BUD LIGHT SELTZER

An iconic new drink is coming to Canada and to celebrate a life-sized Bud Light Seltzer is quarantining on top of one Toronto LCBO. Walk by to catch it doing all the classic quarantine activities like making TikToks, baking, and working tout.

CAN YOU FIND IT? SCAVENGER HUNT

This week is your last chance to take part in this fun-for-the-fam activity. The Mississauga Food Bank invites you to participate in their Can You Find It? Scavenger Hunt. With the easy instructions they’ve provided online, you can spend an afternoon following clues, hunting down goods, and donating to a great cause.

SKY SKATE
